7 November 2014 – The scaffoldings of the construction site at Oranjeboomstraat are being taken down. That is always exciting. The different tones of the bricks are fitting neatly in the colour palette of Oranjeboomstraat. The rhythm and proportions of the façade respond to the typical house figures further down the shopping street and also to the stately school building between the two housing blocks. Site manager Joop Boere has followed the works quite closely. This morning he made a site tour with me. He rightly gave compliments to the brick layers who have made this project: superb craftsmanship.
