6 June 2024 – We are very honoured by the publication of our projects in Fthe Italian architecture magazine Aión. Following the last issues on German architecture, Aión published an issue on the city and urban projects, documenting views and design experiences in German- and Dutch-speaking countries. Recent interest in urban projects and events such as Werkbundstadt Berlin, involving architects from different backgrounds, gave rise to the idea of inviting some of the protagonists to formulate their ideas on the city.

Aión presents a selection of projects that illustrate a common conception of the city at different scales which is based on identity and the structure of urban space. Our office is represented with three projects: the Bluecoat Arts Centre in Liverpool, the Houses with Two Doors in Rotterdam Feijenoord and the urban renewal of Kloosterbuuren in The Hague Moerwijk. We contributed a text entitled ‘The General Form and Assertive Assimilation’.
