On a triangular site in Birkenhead, a town near Liverpool, 57 dwellings were built. The proposed design works with the scale and typology of the architecture in the area. The free-standing house positioned in a row is an alternative to the closed street facade.
Green Lane Triangle has been published in Architecture Today, Building Design and Architectural Research Quarterly. Architecture critic Ellis Woodman stated: ‘The language is familiar from 19th century terraced housing but is lent a hyper-real intensity through the precision with which it has been pursued.’
