In the Eindhoven district De Barrier two corner blocks with affordable rental apartments have been designed. The massing responds to the axis of symmetry in the area as formed by Willem van Noortlaan. The dwellings are accessed by an internal walkway at the rear which allows views on the street from all flats. The large block has a large communal garden, the smaller block has a roof terrace. Affordability and sustainability were key.
