Together with Joost Hovenier, HvdH studied the Sant Angelo monastery in Milan, designed by the Italian architect Giovanni Muzio (1893-1982). It was published in the architecture magazine Oase #92 with the theme Code and Continuities under the title Pragmatic Geometry. The monastery’s geometry was taken from the neighbouring historic church. Based on archive material of Giovanni Muzio jr. the plan, section and facades were re-drawn and analysed graphically. The article is illustrated with photos from the same archive.
