25 March 2025 – Under the title Palazzos on the IJ – Rethinking Housing Typologies architecture center ARCAM is organizing an exhibition featuring our analyses of residential palazzos and investigations into their usability for the Netherlands.

Using architectural analyses, case studies and models, ARCAM will show how the palazzo has developed with Dutch examples such as the Lutherhof. According to ARCAM, the exhibition invites visitors to ‘rediscover the enduring principles of the palazzo and consider their relevance for contemporary housing challenges. By bridging historical insights with modern innovations, the exhibition offers fresh perspectives on the future of urban living.’

Palazzos on the IJ can be visited from April 11 to June 29 (Tuesday – Sunday from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.)
