7 September 2016 – Because city living becomes ever more popular in Groningen, the City Council is organizing the event City Heart Dwelling. Together with 10 colleague architects and urbanists I will investigate the possibilities to supply more dwellings within the city’s centre. Each designer received a concrete task to look at in a range of four workshops. I my case that is the transformation of the so-called Glaudé mansions at Hereweg into dwellings.

The event will be overseen by city counsellor Roeland van der Schaaf, city architect Jeroen de Willigen, project developer Edwin Oostmeijer and of course by the people this is all about: the Stadjers.
