30 September 2026 – Compliments from the Rotterdam Committee on Environmental Quality and Cultural Heritage for the design of a new city block on Boezembocht in Nieuw Kralingen, Rotterdam.
Today, we presented the so-called Q-block. The building has a complex program featuring an underground parking garage, commercial space at street level, apartments, and two clusters of sheltered accommodation. The program is divided into three building sections, each with a distinct architectural design. All bicycles can be stored out of sight. A green garden for all residents will be created on the roof of the bicycle storage area.
We’ll be finalizing the design soon and will move on to the technical design and building permit application.
